Rilli exists because other children's tableware did not convince us in everyday life
We are Jonny and Teresa. As parents we wanted children's tableware that not only looks good but truly proves itself with weaning, BLW and family meals. That is how Rilli came about.
Where we started
We did not want another product with nice promises, but a real solution
Rilli did not come out of a trend but out of genuine frustration with what often does not work day to day. A lot of children's tableware looks practical at first glance but falls short on material, care or suction over time.
With small children, though, it is not just the product that counts but how the table feels: less restlessness, clean shapes, healthy meals and something that feels high quality and dependable.
That is exactly where we started to rethink Rilli from our own perspective as a family.
What was missing
These are the things that kept bothering us about children's tableware
Too many everyday compromises
A lot of children's tableware seems practical at first but quickly shows weaknesses in care, durability or handling.
Materials that do not last
Staining, odours or a material that feels less and less refined over time kept bothering us.
Too little calm at the table
When plates slide around or suction bases do not hold reliably, mealtimes get unnecessarily restless.
Products without a long-term view
We did not want tableware that works for a short moment, but a solution that genuinely accompanies family life.
Why we chose stainless steel
For us it was clear: the material has to be high quality, calm and worthwhile long term
